It seems that I will use blog to share my ideas only for the courses that I register for and as soon as the course is over the blog also dies in a way. Let us see how does this blog survive now.
Well, I was able to read your comments from a past course - so that blog didn't die exactly. I enjoyed reading about your analysis regarding technocratic thinking. I think it relates also to our course's examination of traditional forms of education.
Of course notice the - "tech" in technocratic. Some schools reformers who are focused on issues of efficiency (related to economics) have advocated the use of technology as a mechanization of learning - in the most extreme cases, as a way of eliminating thoughts about curriculum and the craft of teaching!
